V.Ships Chennai Pvt Ltd was officially opened for business on 5th March 2010. The opening ceremony was held in the new office premises followed by a cocktail reception and dinner at the Park Sheraton. The ceremony at the office premises was attended by Lawrie Campbell, Brian Martis and Rajesh Tandon together with members of V.Ships Singapore office team and all of our Chennai employees. The dinner hosted in the evening provided the opportunity to build stronger relationships with representatives of local owners, class and of other premier marine organisations/institutions.
Capt. Satnam Singh Kumar, Managing Director V.Ships Asia Pte Ltd, addressed the elite members of the marine fraternity and expressed his delight on this special occasion. He also introduced Capt. Sachit Sahoonja as the General Manager of V .Ships Chennai. The Chennai office houses a team of 35 of our employees who offer strong specialist skills in technical management and crewing. The new premises are fully equipped with the required infrastructure to manage any type of vessels at par with the standards of V Group. Presently holding eight DOC’s and four ships under management, Chennai is supporting ship management in our established offices in both Singapore and Cyprus.
