Through Life Management is a key concern for all modern military navies. Against a background of continuous budget cut-backs, meaning always "doing more with less," there is a great need for innovative proposals aimed at reducing the costs of ownership over the long term.

In a global context, the development of Availability-Based Contracts is a key driver to achieving this ambitious goal.

Since 2003, V.Navy has gained great experience in tendering for bids issued by the French Navy, well known to be on the cutting edge in terms of global contracts for availability of platforms.

The upkeep of the French Landing Craft "Sabre" was carried out by our sister-company V.Ships in Genoa in 2004, followed in 2006 in association with Thales, by those of frigates Floreal and Nivose both undertaken in La Reunion and Dubaï.

In the future, V.Navy will continue to strengthen its partnering strategy with original equipment manufacturers and specific subcontractors as this brings the best value for money and improves availability to match our customers' requirements.
